Remembering Our Wild Woman Within

Remembering Our Wild Woman Within

Join us for an epic Wise Woman journey into Mother Earth’s cycles, energies, and portals. Learn how to live in harmony with nature, enhancing your own self-care and casting potent magick.

About The Wise Woman Tradition:
The word witch comes from the old English word “witan” meaning “to know” or “to be wise”. A witch/wise woman is an ally and lover of the Earth who works with the cycles of nature, someone who reclaims the ancient practices of the lineage of women who came before her. She takes us back to the matriarch tradition and helps others come into full expression of our power through ecology and feminism. To the Wise Woman, it is important to take away the negative stigma of the word witch, to raise our voices and be seen as empowered women and healers.

In this workshop, we will cast a circle, perform rituals for each direction, and re-member ourselves as part of the Earth’s wholeness and holiness.

We will meet on Friday, April 26th from 6pm-9pm in SE Portland. Please register at to receive the address.

Medicinal Herb Workshop

Medicinal Herb Workshop

Take charge of your health in the New Year and join us at The Inn at Crippen Creek Farm on (Saturday, February 2, 2019, from 11 a.m to 3 p.m.) to make herbal medicine and prepare for the cold and flu season! In this hands-on workshop, Pia de la Llata will teach us to make fire cider and cough syrup using food, herbs, and other common household ingredients. We will discuss the benefits of these traditional folk remedies while empowering ourselves through self-care and activism. Fire cider’s antiviral and antibacterial properties, along with its high mineral content, make it a simple (and delicious!) cold and flu preventative that can be incorporated in our every day meals or taken daily as a tonic. It also enhances digestion and promotes circulation! Our cough syrup will incorporate elderberries and other medicinal herbs that have been scientifically proven to help us recover from the flu, colds, congestion, and sore throats. Unlike most conventional cough syrups, these will nourish us with antioxidants, vitamins, minerals, and the power of our intention. These also make great gifts! Everyone will go home with a pint of fire cider vinegar, a personalized cough syrup, and a deeper connection to the herbs we work with. We will discuss and understand how these plants support our healing and how to best extract their medicine using a variety of solvents. We hope to inspire you to take your health into your hands and remember that healthy choices are accessible and don’t always need to be purchased. $75 per person and includes a wholesome and delicious lunch. Seating is limited so call early to reserve your spot. (360)795-0585.
