My name is Pia, I’m a holistic wellness practitioner- clinical herbalist, nutritionist, yoga teacher and health educator. My approach is heart-centered and deeply rooted in The Wise Woman Tradition of healing: a path to nourishment that is simple and accessible to everyone.

Beginning my journey as a nutritionist and green witch in Los Angeles, I wanted to find a teacher to help deepen my connection with spirit and community. After attending endless yoga workshops, healers and psychics looking for “the one,” I settled for fleeting bouts of inspiration and turned back to my books. It was a few years later when I met and apprenticed with Marysia Miernovska at the Gaia School of Healing that I felt a connection to my path. Over the course of the following two years, I immersed myself in herbalism, plant spirit medicine, regenerative farming practices, chakra healing, and Earth magick. Seeking to integrate these teachings into my life and live in closer relationship with the land, I moved to Portland where I’ve focused my studies in Clinical Herbalism through a three-year program rooted in the Vitalist Tradition at Vital Ways School of Holistic Clinical Herbalism.

In addition to my herbal studies, I hold a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Food from an accredited program recognized for Dietetic Education and Practice; as well as a holistic health coaching certificate from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. I’m also certified as a Diabetes lifestyle coach with the National Institutes of Health (NIH). As an avid yogi, I love to study the ancient medicine and philosophy of yoga in addition to teaching asana weekly. For the past three years, I’ve teamed up with Omada Health, a pioneer in the digital behavioral medicine field, coaching people nationwide to reverse their onset of obesity related chronic disease.

My guidance is intuitive and my experience evidence based. I love weaving modern science and traditional plant medicine to create a holistic path to healing and growth. My passion for integrating health, community and connection is inspired by my experience in witnessing the body’s (and the soil’s!) innate ability to heal when we consciously live in rhythm with Earth. My mission is to empower you to listen deeply and become your own health advocate. To help you tune into the medicine that surrounds you and understand the cycles of nature so you don’t have to rely on the latest lifestyle trends. To remind you that self and Earth-care are one, that you are already whole, and you CAN create transformation in yourself and the world around you. Let’s chat, I’d love to help you feel your best!
